system preamble (from the harness)
You are building a self-contained static demo that will be published to a static host and
opened directly in a browser. Non-negotiable constraints:
- Vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript only. No build step, no bundler, no package manager, no
framework, no server-side code, no TypeScript that needs compiling.
- Everything lives in the current directory. `index.html` is the entry point unless the task
says otherwise.
- It must work completely offline. No CDN links, no external fonts, no remote images, no
network requests of any kind. Draw or generate any graphics you need (CSS, SVG, canvas,
inline data URIs), or do without.
- Write files with the write tool. If a file is getting long, write it in chunks (write the
first part, then append with edit) — a single oversized write can be truncated silently.
- Before you finish, read back the files you wrote and confirm they are complete and
consistent. Do not leave any background process running.
Finish the whole task. A partially built page that stops halfway is worse than a smaller
one that is complete.
the prompt (identical for every model)
The files in this directory are a reduced city repertory page from WszystkieKina. The page
shows five films across eleven cinema listings and eight days. It renders, but its dense
schedule grid is broken. Here is the bug report, as reported by people using it:
1. On a desktop, the dates in the sticky header do not line up with the day columns below.
Each date is visibly shifted from the screening cell it is supposed to label.
2. Busy cells do not contain their screening times. Times run into adjacent days and become
impossible to associate with the right date.
3. On a phone at 375px wide, the entire document becomes a very wide page. The schedule may
use a deliberately scrollable region or another responsive treatment, but the page itself
must not scroll sideways and it must remain obvious which film, cinema and day a time
belongs to.
4. When scrolling down, a film poster slides over the sticky date header and hides it. The
dates must remain visible above the schedule content.
5. The title search does not work, and the browser console reports an error as soon as the
page loads.
6. The type and translation filters hide individual times, but films with no remaining
screenings stay behind as large empty rows. When every film is excluded, the existing
"Brak filmów" message never appears. Search and both filters must compose correctly.
7. At narrow widths or high zoom, the filter controls are clipped or stranded off-screen.
They must remain reachable without making the document wider.
8. The film metadata and screening links are so pale that they are difficult to read.
9. Keyboard users cannot see focus anywhere, and a screen-reader user reported that the page
has no useful heading outline for the city and its films.
## What to do
Fix all nine problems. Then check the page at desktop and phone widths and fix anything else
that is clearly a defect rather than a taste decision.
The schedule's data relationships are part of the contract: keep all five films, eleven
cinema listings, eight dates and their existing screening times and tags. After filtering,
every visible time must still sit under its correct date and beside its correct cinema.
**Do not redesign it.** Keep the compact, plain repertory-table appearance, the Polish copy,
the generated poster placeholders and the existing filter choices. This is a structural
repair: change the HTML, CSS and JavaScript only as much as the fixes require, and do not
replace the schedule with a new app or a different information architecture.
When you are done, list the changes you made and which reported problem each one addresses.

Let me carefully analyze the bugs. **Understanding the structure:** - `.main-grid` is a grid. Children: `.sticky-header` (a grid with `grid-template-columns: 330px repeat(8, 1fr)`), `.filter-bar` (grid-column: 1 / -1), `.no-movies-message` (grid-column: 1 / -1), and one `.movie-row` per movie. - `.movie-row` is `display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px auto;` — poster cell (150px) + content cell (auto). - `.content-cell` is `display: grid; grid-template-columns: 200px repeat(8, 1fr);` — movie title spans 9 columns, then for each cinema: cinema-info (column 1) + 8 day cells (columns 2–9). **Bug 1: The sticky header dates don't line up with the day columns.** Header: `grid-template-columns: 330px repeat(8, 1fr)`. Movie row: poster 150px + content (200px + 8 × 1fr). So the header's first column is 330px = 150 + 200. That matches… but wait, `.main-grid` has `border: 1px solid #ddd`, and `.movie-row` has `border-bottom: 1px solid #ddd`. The header has `border-bottom: 2px solid #ccc`. Borders don't shift columns horizontally, so that's fine. Hmm, but the day cells: `.day-cell` has `min-width: 100px` and `border: 1px solid #ddd`. The content cell's day columns are `repeat(8, 1fr)`, but each day cell has min-width 100px. In a grid, `1fr` tracks can expand beyond the available space if content's min-width forces it — actually, in CSS grid, `1fr` is `minmax(auto, 1fr)`, and auto minimum is the minimum content size. A day cell with 4–5 nowrap times and min-width: 100px… the minimum content size of the day cell is at least 100px (min-width) plus the border. So if 8 × 100px + 200px + 150px exceeds the container width, the grid overflows (the grid container's width is determined by its content… actually `.content-cell` is inside the `auto` column of `.movie-row`, and `.movie-row` is a grid item of `.main-grid` which has `width: 100%` but `min-width: fit-content`). So the actual column widths in the movie rows: the day columns are each at least 100px + 2px border. The header uses `repeat(8, 1fr)` with no min-width, so its day columns are (container width − 330px) / 8. If the movie row's day columns are wider than the header's day columns (because of the min-width 100px forcing the row wider than the container), the header doesn't line up. Also, the header's `overflow: hidden` clips it. Actually, wait — the header is a grid item of `.main-grid` (which is a grid). Grid items stretch to the grid's width. `.main-grid` is `width: 100%; min-width: fit-content`. If a movie row's content needs more than 100% (because the day cells have min-width 100px), the main grid expands (min-width: fit-content), and the document scrolls horizontally (bug 3). And the header's `repeat(8, 1fr)` distributes the entire expanded width, but the movie row's day columns are distributed within the `auto` column of `.movie-row`… Let me think more carefully about the actual geometry: - `.main-grid` width W = max(100% of body content, fit-content). - Header: 330px + 8 × (W − 330px)/8. - Movie row: grid `150px auto`. The content cell is in the `auto` column → width = W − 150px. Inside the content: 200px + 8 × 1fr, where each 1fr = (W − 150px − 200px)/8 = (W − 350px)/8. So the header's day columns start at x=330 and each has width (W−330)/8. The movie row's day columns start at x=150+200=350 and each has width (W−350)/8. **Misalignment: 330 vs 350!** The header's first column is 330px, but the movie row's poster (150) + cinema-info (200) = 350px. So the header's day columns start 20px to the left of the actual day columns. This is bug 1: "the dates in the sticky header don't line up with the day columns below. Each date is visibly shifted from the screening cell it's supposed to label." Fix: the header's first column should be 350px (150 + 200). Better: make the header's columns match exactly: `grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr)`. But wait — there's the border issue. `.day-cell` has `border: 1px solid #ddd` (2px total per cell), and `.cinema-info` has `border-right: 1px`. The header's `.header-item` has `border-right: 1px solid #ddd`. If the day cells have borders on both sides, adjacent cells would have a double border (2px between cells). In a `1fr` grid, the borders are inside the cell (border-box? `.day-cell` has `box-sizing: border-box`, yes). So the border is inside the 1fr track and doesn't change the track width. OK. But `.main-grid` has `border: 1px solid #ddd` — this shifts the entire grid content by 1px inward relative to the grid's box, but the header is inside the same grid, so it's consistent. Also, the header's `overflow: hidden` and the movie row's… the movie row doesn't have overflow hidden. The content cell's day columns: if the 1fr track is narrower than the minimum content (nowrap times), the content overflows the cell. `.day-cell` has `flex-wrap: nowrap` and `.seance` has `white-space: nowrap` — times overflow the cell (bug 2: "busy cells don't contain their screening times. The times spill into adjacent days"). Fix for bug 2: allow wrapping. Change `.day-cell` to `flex-wrap: wrap` so times wrap within the cell. This keeps times within their day column. But there's also the min-width: 100px problem. At narrow widths, 8 × 100px + 350px = 1150px minimum. If the window is narrower than that, the grid overflows → the document scrolls horizontally (bug 3). The task says: "the schedule may use an intentionally scrollable region or another responsive treatment, but the page itself must not scroll sideways." So a good approach: keep the grid's minimum width, and make the schedule area horizontally scrollable within the page (overflow-x: auto on a wrapper), while the page itself doesn't scroll. But the sticky header must remain sticky and aligned with the scroll… that's tricky: if the header is in a separate element from the scroll content, horizontal scroll won't sync. Alternative approach: put the entire schedule (header + movie rows) in one scrollable container that scrolls horizontally, and the sticky header is sticky within that scroll container (position: sticky works within a scroll container). The filter bar is outside the scroll container (or inside? The filter bar must remain reachable — bug 7 says the filter controls get clipped or stranded off-screen at narrow widths. So the filter bar must wrap or scroll independently, and must not be part of the wide scrollable region… actually, if the filter bar is inside the horizontal scroll container, it scrolls with the content — "stranded off-screen" means you'd have to scroll horizontally to reach them. Better: keep the filter bar outside the scroll container, and make it wrap (flex-wrap) so it stays reachable). Hmm, but wait. Let me reconsider: the simplest, most robust structure that preserves the design: ``` .main-grid (page-level, width 100%, no min-width) .sticky-header (grid: 350px + 8×1fr... but needs to align with the scrollable content) .filter-bar .schedule-scroll (overflow-x: auto) <- contains the header? No... ``` Problem: if the sticky header is inside the scroll container, `position: sticky; top: 0` works relative to the scroll container's vertical scrolling — but the scroll container only scrolls horizontally (its height fits the content), so the sticky top:0 doesn't stick to the viewport. Vertical scrolling happens on the document/body. So a header inside an overflow-x container won't stick to the top of the viewport… actually, `position: sticky` sticks relative to the nearest scrolling ancestor. If the scroll container has `overflow-x: auto` and `overflow-y: visible`… CSS says if one axis is auto/scroll, the other computes to auto too (visible becomes auto). So the container becomes a scroll container on both axes, and sticky top:0 sticks to the top of that container, which doesn't vertically scroll (its height = content height), so the header never sticks. Bad. So the header must be outside the horizontal scroll container, in the normal document flow, and sticky to the viewport. And it has to align with the horizontally scrolling content below. To keep alignment during horizontal scroll, the header itself must scroll horizontally in sync with the content. Options: 1. Two scroll containers (header scroller + body scroller) with JS to sync their scrollLeft. This is a common pattern. The header scroller has `overflow-x: auto` (or hidden + synced), the body scroller has `overflow-x: auto`. On the body's scroll event, set the header's scrollLeft = body's scrollLeft. Works, but adds JS complexity. 2. Make the whole page (body) horizontally scrollable — not allowed (bug 3). 3. Reconsider: do we actually need horizontal scrolling of the schedule? The requirement says "the schedule may use an intentionally scrollable region or another responsive treatment, but the page itself must not scroll sideways, and it must remain obvious which movie, which cinema, and which day each time belongs to." Alternative responsive treatment: at narrow widths, restructure the layout so no horizontal scroll is needed. But "don't redesign" — keep the compact, plain schedule-table look. A scrollable region is explicitly permitted. Let me think about what's cleanest and most robust: **Approach A: A single scroll region containing everything below the filter bar, with the header duplicated inside?** No. **Approach B: JS scroll sync.** The header row is a separate element with `overflow-x: auto` (or hidden) and the same inner width as the schedule. The schedule is inside `.schedule-scroll { overflow-x: auto }`. Sync scrollLeft. The header is sticky (top: 0) in the viewport. The header's inner content has the same min-width as the schedule's inner content, so the columns align. Actually, wait — even simpler: **Approach C: put the header inside the scroll container and use `position: sticky; top: 0`** — as noted, it doesn't work because the container becomes a scroll container on both axes. Hmm, actually there's a subtle point: if the scroll container has `overflow-x: auto; overflow-y: visible`, the spec says the used value of overflow-y becomes auto. So yes, it becomes a scroll container on both axes. But wait — what if the scroll container's height is exactly the content height (no vertical overflow)? Then there's nothing to scroll vertically, and sticky top:0 is… the sticky element sticks within its containing block (the scroll container). Since the container doesn't scroll vertically, the header stays at its natural position and scrolls away with the document. Doesn't stick. Confirmed bad. **Approach D: sticky header + transform-based horizontal sync.** Make the header `position: sticky; top: 0; overflow: hidden;`, and translate its inner row by `−scrollLeft` of the schedule. The header's inner row has the same min-width as the schedule content. On the schedule's scroll (and resize), set `headerInner.style.transform = translateX(-scrollLeft px)`. Clean, and the header itself doesn't scroll (no scrollbar on the header). Actually, Approach B with the header's own overflow-x and synced scrollLeft is even simpler and more robust: the header has its own horizontal scrollbar? No — a double scrollbar (one on the header, one on the body) looks bad. Better: header `overflow: hidden` + JS transform, or header `overflow-x: auto` with `scrollbar-width: none` (hide the scrollbar) and sync. Let's go with this: the header's inner `.header-row` (a grid with min-width) is transformed by JS. Actually, even simpler: make the header a grid itself with `overflow: hidden`, and set `header.scrollLeft = schedule.scrollLeft`? A grid with overflow hidden can be scrolled programmatically via scrollLeft even if the scrollbar is hidden. Yes! `element.scrollLeft = x` works on any element with an overflow that produces scrollable overflow. So: - `.sticky-header { position: sticky; top: 0; overflow: hidden; }` — its grid content has `min-width: <schedule min-width>`. - `.schedule-scroll { overflow-x: auto; }` contains the movie rows. - JS: `scheduleScroll.addEventListener('scroll', () => header.scrollLeft = scheduleScroll.scrollLeft)`. Both the header's inner grid and the schedule's rows need identical column geometry: the header's grid and each movie row's content grid must have the same template. Currently the header is `330px repeat(8,1fr)` and the movie content is `200px repeat(8,1fr)` inside a `150px auto` row. To make the geometry identical, the header should be `150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr)` — wait, but the header's first cell (combined-header) currently spans… it's `grid-column` auto → column 1 only (330px). If I change the header to `150px 200px repeat(8,1fr)`, the combined header only occupies the 150px column. Better: `grid-column: 1 / 3` (spanning poster + cinema columns) — visually the same as before (a 350px-wide label area). And the movie row: `grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr)` — flatten the poster cell and content cell into one grid! Then the movie row's columns are exactly the same as the header's columns. This eliminates the nested grid misalignment entirely. But wait — the current structure has `.content-cell` as a nested grid containing the movie title (spanning 9) and the cinema rows. If I flatten it, the movie title spans all 10 columns, the poster cell spans rows… hmm, the poster cell should span the entire movie row (all cinema rows + title). With `grid-template-rows: auto auto auto...` I can use `grid-row: 1 / -1` on the poster cell. Hmm, but the poster is `position: sticky; top: 0; z-index: 2` — bug 4: "when scrolling down, the movie poster slides over the sticky date header and hides it." The poster's sticky top:0 with z-index 2 > header's z-index 1 → the poster covers the header. Fix: the poster should be sticky below the header: `top: 40px` (header height) and/or lower z-index (z-index: 0 or 1, header z-index higher). Actually, the simplest fix that preserves intent (poster stays visible while scrolling the movie): `top: 40px` (below the header) and `z-index: 0` (below the header's z-index 1). Hmm, but if the poster is sticky at top:40px, it stays below the header — good, the header remains visible. Wait, what's the intent of the sticky poster? Probably to keep the poster visible while scrolling through that movie's many cinema rows. The bug report says the poster slides over the header and hides it — "the dates must remain visible above the schedule content." So the fix: keep the poster sticky but offset below the header (top: 40px), and ensure z-index is below the header. Also note: the header height is 40px. The sticky header's top: 0. Now, about the flattened grid approach vs. keeping the nested structure: **Option 1 (flatten):** `.movie-row { display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr); }` with: - `.poster-cell { grid-column: 1; grid-row: 1 / -1; }` - `.movie-title { grid-column: 2 / -1; }` (or 1 / -1? The current design: the title is inside the content cell, spanning 9 columns (200px + 8 days), i.e., starting after the poster. So `grid-column: 2 / -1`.) - `.cinema-info { grid-column: 2; }` - `.day-cell { grid-column: 3..10; }` — but the day cells are generated in JS per cinema. In the flattened grid, each day cell needs an explicit column: `grid-column: n + 2`. Or use `grid-auto-flow: column`? Hmm. Actually, in the flattened grid, for each cinema row: the cinema-info is in column 2, and the 8 day cells are in columns 3–10. If I set `.cinema-info { grid-column: 2 }` and `.day-cell { grid-column: auto }`… auto placement: items are placed in order. The first day cell after the cinema-info would be placed in column 3 (the next empty cell in the row), and subsequent ones in 4, 5… as long as the row advances correctly. Actually, auto placement with `grid-auto-flow: row` (default): each item is placed in the next available position. The poster is explicitly in column 1, rows 1/-1. The title is in row 1, columns 2/-1. Then cinema-info: if explicit `grid-column: 2`, it goes into the next empty row (row 2), column 2. Then the day cells with auto placement: the cursor continues… hmm, auto-placement cursor: after placing cinema-info in row 2 column 2, the next auto item (day cell) is placed in row 2 column 3, then row 2 column 4, etc. As long as I don't set an explicit row, it should work. But it's fragile. Cleaner: give each day cell an explicit `grid-column` in JS (3 + index). And cinema-info gets `grid-column: 2`. Rows are auto. Hmm wait, actually there's a subtlety: with `grid-auto-flow: row` and items spanning, the "sparse" auto placement… let me just set explicit columns in JS: `cell.style.gridColumn = (index + 3)` for day cells. And `.cinema-info { grid-column: 2; }`. The title: `grid-column: 2 / -1`. The poster: `grid-column: 1; grid-row: 1 / -1`. This works and gives the movie row exactly the same column template as the header. **Option 2 (keep the nesting, fix the widths):** keep `.movie-row { 150px auto }` and `.content-cell { 200px repeat(8,1fr) }`, and make the header `150px 200px repeat(8,1fr)` with the combined header spanning columns 1–2. The nested content cell is in the `auto` column = W − 150px, its day columns = (W − 350px)/8. The header's day columns = (W − 350px)/8, starting at 350px. Aligned! Both options work. Option 2 changes less code (no JS changes to day cell placement). But Option 2 has a risk: `.movie-row`'s `auto` column and the nested grid's `1fr` columns — the `auto` track sizes to the content cell's max-content… the content cell is a grid; its width as a grid item of the auto track: the auto track's max-content size = the content cell's max-content width, which could be huge (all the nowrap times). Hmm, with `width: 100%` on main-grid and the movie row… the movie row is a grid item of main-grid; main-grid's columns: main-grid has no explicit `grid-template-columns`! It's `display: grid` with default `grid-template-columns: none` → a single implicit column, each item in its own row, full width. The movie row's width = main-grid's width (stretched). Inside the movie row: `150px auto` — the auto track takes the remainder = W − 150px. The content cell (grid item of the auto track) stretches to the track width = W − 150px. Its own `1fr` columns distribute (W − 350px)/8, but if the content's minimum size is larger, the track grows beyond that (1fr = minmax(auto,1fr) → minimum = content's minimum). The day cell's minimum content: min-width 100px + border 2px → 102px. So the content grid's minimum width = 200 + 8×102 = 1016px. If W − 150 < 1016 (i.e., W < 1166), the content grid overflows its box (the grid overflows, content spills out of the auto track, and the movie row overflows main-grid → the document scrolls horizontally). That's bug 3. So in either option, I need to handle the minimum width with a scrollable region. **Decision:** use a scrollable schedule region: Structure: ```html <div class="main-grid"> <div class="sticky-header"> ... </div> (grid: 150px 200px repeat(8,1fr), overflow hidden, JS-synced scrollLeft) <div class="filter-bar"> ... </div> <div class="no-movies-message"> ... </div> <div class="schedule-scroll"> <div class="schedule-inner"> (min-width: 1150px or so) movie rows... </div> </div> </div> ``` Wait, but the no-movies message should span the full page width (not scroll). And the filter bar too. Currently they're `grid-column: 1 / -1` in main-grid (a single implicit column, so it's just a row). Fine. Hmm, but actually — do I want the movie rows inside `.schedule-inner`? The rows are appended by JS to `.main-grid`. I'll change the JS to append to `.schedule-inner` (or a new container). That's a small JS change, acceptable. Actually, wait. Let me reconsider. Is there a simpler way that avoids the JS scroll sync? **Alternative: put the header inside the scroll container and make the scroll container the vertical scroller too.** That is, make `.schedule-scroll` the only scroller: `overflow: auto; max-height: calc(100vh - something)`. Then the sticky header inside it sticks to the top of the scroll container, and horizontal scroll naturally carries the header along. The page itself doesn't scroll vertically for the schedule… but the page has other content (filter bar at the top). If the schedule region has a max-height with its own vertical scroll, the whole page fits in the viewport height: header + filter bar + schedule (scrollable). This is actually a clean pattern: the schedule is a self-contained scrollable box (both axes), the sticky header works inside it, and horizontal scroll moves the header and rows together. But: does that change the look? Currently the page scrolls naturally and the header is sticky at the top of the viewport. With the inner-scroll-box approach, the schedule box has its own scrollbar and the page is fixed height. Hmm, that's a bigger change to the page feel. Also, on desktop with a wide window, no horizontal scroll is needed, and the vertical box scroll is a bit unusual but acceptable… But there's a pitfall: with `max-height: calc(100vh - X)` and `overflow: auto`, on desktop the schedule box shows its own vertical scrollbar. The sticky header inside sticks to the top of the box. That works. But the filter bar is outside the box, at the top. The page itself: body height = header + filter + box ≤ 100vh. No page scroll. Hmm, but the original design intent (a sticky header at the top of the viewport with the page scrolling) is lost — the header is at the top of the box, not the top of the viewport, and there's a scrollbar inside the box. The task says: "the schedule may use an intentionally scrollable region or another responsive treatment." So a scrollable region is explicitly OK. But which is less of a redesign? The JS-synced approach preserves the current feel exactly (page scrolls, header sticky at the top of the viewport, horizontal scroll only when needed, on the schedule). Let's go with the JS-synced approach. Let me double-check the sticky header + scrollLeft sync: the header is `position: sticky; top: 0; overflow: hidden;`. Its child `.header-row` (grid) has the same min-width as the schedule content. When the user scrolls the schedule horizontally, JS sets `header.scrollLeft = schedule.scrollLeft`. The header's overflow hidden → scrollable overflow exists (the header-row is wider than the header), so scrollLeft works. But wait: the header's width = main-grid's width = 100% of the page. The schedule's scroll width = max(page width, min-width). The header's scrollable overflow = header-row's width − header's width. If header-row's width == schedule-inner's width, they match exactly. Both need the same min-width and the same column template. Header-row: `display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr); min-width: 1150px;` (1150 = 350 + 8×100). Schedule-inner: the movie rows are `display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr); min-width: 1150px;`. Hmm wait, do the movie rows need min-width, or does the inner container? The day cells have `min-width: 100px`… actually, should I keep the day cell's min-width: 100px? With wrapping (flex-wrap: wrap), the minimum content size of a day cell is the widest single time (about 45px) — the min-width 100px forces 100px. 8×100 + 350 = 1150px minimum. At 1200px viewport (body padding 20px on each side → 1160px content) → slight horizontal scroll. Hmm. Should I reduce the day cell's min-width? The original design had `min-width: 100px` on day-cell. At what width does horizontal scroll kick in? main-grid width = viewport − 40px padding. Schedule min-width 1150 → scroll when viewport < 1190px. That's fairly narrow — many laptops are 1280–1440. A 1366px laptop: 1326 content > 1150, no scroll. A 1280 laptop: 1240 > 1150, OK. A 1024 tablet: scroll. That's acceptable — "the schedule may use an intentionally scrollable region." But actually, with flex-wrap: wrap, do I need min-width: 100px? The purpose of the 100px minimum was probably to keep the columns reasonably wide. If I remove it, the columns can shrink and the times wrap more. The minimum content size becomes the widest time + padding. That would let the schedule fit on a phone without horizontal scroll at all… but then the day columns get very narrow on a phone (8 columns in about 235px = about 29px each) — the times "12:30" (about 38px) would overflow the 29px cell. Hmm, nowrap time in a 29px cell → overflow. So wrapping alone doesn't save a phone; the columns are too narrow. A phone needs horizontal scroll (or a redesign, which is forbidden). So: keep a reasonable min-width so the columns stay readable, and let the schedule scroll horizontally on a phone. Let me compute a good min-width. Times are "HH:MM" at 14px ≈ 40px wide. A day cell with padding 10px on each side + border 2px: for one time per row: about 40+20+2 = 62px. Two times per row (gap 5px): about 87px. With min-width: 100px, up to two times fit per row (100 − 22 = 78px available… hmm 78 < 87, so two times don't fit in 100px; they wrap to one per row). Let me not overthink: keep `min-width: 100px` (the existing value — don't redesign). Total min-width = 350 + 8×100 = 1150px. Hmm wait, actually, let me reconsider the day cell's border: `border: 1px solid #ddd` on both left and right → adjacent cells share 2px of border. box-sizing: border-box → the border is inside the 100px. OK. Now, the header's day cells (`.header-item`) have `border-right: 1px` and `white-space: nowrap; overflow: hidden; text-overflow: ellipsis`. The header's day columns are `1fr` with min-width… in the header-row grid, the `repeat(8, 1fr)` tracks: 1fr = minmax(auto, 1fr). The header items have min-width: 0 (set in the CSS: `.header-item { min-width: 0 }`) → the auto minimum = 0. So the header-row's minimum width = 350 + 8×0 = 350. But I'll set `min-width: 1150px` explicitly on the header-row to match the schedule. Then the header's day columns each get (1150−350)/8 = 100px at minimum. Wait, but if the page is wider than 1150, the header-row stretches to the header's width (100%), and the day columns = (W−350)/8. The schedule-inner stretches to the schedule's width (100% of the scroll container = W), and the movie rows' day columns = (W−350)/8. Identical. One more check: the movie row's grid — I'm flattening it. Let me re-verify the flatten plan: `.movie-row { display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr); }` Items: 1. `.poster-cell` → `grid-column: 1; grid-row: 1 / -1;` 2. `.movie-title` → `grid-column: 2 / -1;` (row 1) 3. For each cinema: `.cinema-info` → `grid-column: 2;` (auto row), then 8 `.day-cell` → `grid-column: 3..10`. Auto row placement: the poster spans rows 1/-1 (the -1 is resolved after all items are placed… actually, an explicit `grid-row: 1 / -1` with -1 refers to the last implicit row — it works, the poster spans all rows). Auto placement order: items are placed in DOM order. The poster is explicit (column 1, rows 1/-1). The title is explicit column 2/-1, auto row → row 1 (the first empty row where columns 2-10 are free… row 1, columns 2–10 are free? The poster occupies column 1 of rows 1..N. The title needs columns 2–10 of some row; row 1 works). Then cinema-info: explicit column 2, auto row → row 2 (column 2 of row 1 is occupied by the title). Then the day cells: explicit columns 3–10, auto row → they go into row 2 (the first row where those columns are free). The next cinema-info → row 3, and so on. But wait — there's a subtlety with the auto-placement cursor and explicit column assignments: the default auto-placement algorithm (sparse) places each auto-positioned item at the earliest position (row, then column) where it fits. An item with an explicit column and auto row: it's placed in the first row where the specified column is free. The day cells have explicit columns 3..10 and auto rows: the first day cell (column 3) → the first row where column 3 is free = row 2. The second (column 4) → the first row where column 4 is free = row 2. Etc. All 8 go into row 2. The next cinema-info (column 2) → row 3. So each cinema's day cells land in the same row as its cinema-info. But it's safer to be explicit: set `grid-row` too? The JS generates the day cells; I can set `cell.style.gridColumn = String(3 + dayIndex)` and rely on the auto row. The order is guaranteed by the DOM order and the sparse placement. I'm fairly confident, but let me make it even more robust: instead of relying on auto placement, wrap each cinema's cells… no, I can't wrap (the grid columns are what lines them up — well, I could use a subgrid, but subgrid support in older browsers is… it's 2026 now, subgrid is widely supported. But let's keep it simple: explicit grid-column in JS). Hmm, actually wait. Let me reconsider Option 2 (keep the nested content-cell grid) once more. Because it keeps the JS almost untouched: - `.movie-row { grid-template-columns: 150px 1fr; }` (auto → 1fr, same thing). - `.content-cell { grid-template-columns: 200px repeat(8, 1fr); }` (unchanged). - Header: `grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr);`, combined-header `grid-column: 1 / 3`. Alignment: the movie row is a grid item of main-grid (a single implicit column of width W). The row's tracks: 150px + 1fr.$bashls -la .session/ 2>/dev/null; which node python3 2>/dev/null

Chromium is available. After making the fixes, I can use it headlessly to take screenshots and check the console. Now let me analyze the bugs in detail: **Bug 1: Sticky header dates don't line up with the day-of-week columns.** - Header: `grid-template-columns: 330px repeat(8, 1fr)` - Movie row: `150px auto`, and inside content-cell: `200px repeat(8, 1fr)` - 150 + 200 = 350 ≠ 330. The header's day columns start at x=330, but the actual day columns start at x=350. A 20px offset. Fix: the header's columns should be `150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr)`, and the combined header should span columns 1–2. **Bug 2: Times in busy cells overflow into adjacent days.** - `.day-cell` has `flex-wrap: nowrap`, and `.seance` has `white-space: nowrap`. With 4–5 times in a 100px cell, they overflow. Fix: `flex-wrap: wrap` on `.day-cell`. **Bug 3: At 375px, the document becomes very wide.** - `.main-grid`'s `min-width: fit-content` + the day cells' `min-width: 100px` → the grid is at least 350+8×100=1150px wide, and the body scrolls horizontally. Fix: a scrollable schedule region (`.schedule-scroll { overflow-x: auto }`) with the movie rows inside; the header syncs its scroll via JS. The page itself doesn't scroll horizontally. **Bug 4: The poster slides over the sticky header.** - `.movie-poster` has `position: sticky; top: 0; z-index: 2`, and the header has `z-index: 1`. Fix: poster's `top: 40px` (below the 40px header) and `z-index: 0` (below the header). **Bug 5: Search is broken + console error.** - The HTML input's id is `movie-search-input`, but the JS uses `document.getElementById("movie-search")` → null → `input.addEventListener` throws a TypeError → the rest of the IIFE after setupSearch fails... wait, setupSearch is called last: renderHeader, renderMovies, setupDropdowns, setupSearch. The error occurs inside setupSearch (the last call), so the rendering has completed. But the error is reported on load. Fix: use the correct id `movie-search-input`. **Bug 6: Filters hide times, but empty movie rows remain; "Brak filmów" doesn't show.** - `applyFilters` only hides `.seance` elements and filters rows by search text. It doesn't hide rows/cinemas with no visible screenings, and doesn't toggle the no-movies message. Fix: after hiding seances, for each movie row, check whether any `.seance` is visible; if not, hide the row. If all rows are hidden, show the message. Note: "films with no remaining screenings remain as big empty rows" — this includes cinema rows that become empty. Should individual cinema rows also be hidden? The report says "films with no remaining screenings remain as big empty rows" — so at the film level. But if a film has screenings at one cinema and none at another, hiding the whole film row is wrong; the empty cinema row would remain. Hmm: "type and translation filters hide individual times, but films with no remaining screenings remain as big empty rows." The minimal fix that's faithful to the report: hide films with zero visible screenings. But then a film with screenings at Cinema A and none at Cinema B would show an empty cinema row (cinema name + 8 empty day cells). Is that a "big empty row"? The cinema row would be visible but with no times. That's definitely part of the same defect. The contract says "keep all 5 films, 11 cinema listings, 8 dates" — that's about the data, and filtering is a runtime operation. I think the correct behavior is: hide cinema rows with no visible screenings, and hide film rows with no visible cinema rows. That way "every visible time still sits under the correct date next to the correct cinema," and no big empty rows remain. And when all films are excluded, show "Brak filmów." Implementation: for each cinema row (cinema-info + its 8 day cells), count the visible seances; if 0, hide the cinema-info and its day cells. For each movie row, if no seance is visible, hide the entire row. If all rows are hidden, show the no-movies message. To find the 8 day cells belonging to a cinema, I can track them in JS. In the flattened grid, each cinema produces 1 cinema-info + 8 day cells appended in order. I could give the day cells a `data-cinema-row` index, or wrap them... I can't wrap. I can assign each cinema's cells a shared class or data attribute: e.g., `data-cinema-index="i"` on the cinema-info and its day cells. Then in applyFilters: for each i, query the row's `[data-cinema-index="i"]`... but the seances are inside the day cells. For each cinema group: visible = group's day cells contain any `.seance` that isn't display:none. Simpler: in applyFilters, iterate `.day-cell` elements; for each, count visible seances. Group by cinema index. Let me add a `data-cinema` attribute (index) to both the cinema-info and its day cells when rendering. Then: ```js function applyFilters() { // 1. Hide individual seances document.querySelectorAll(".seance").forEach(function (seance) { var link = seance.querySelector(".screening-link"); seance.style.display = (link && seanceMatches(link.getAttribute("data-tags"))) ? "" : "none"; }); // 2. Hide cinema rows with no visible seances document.querySelectorAll(".movie-row").forEach(function (row) { var anyVisible = false; row.querySelectorAll(".cinema-info").forEach(function (info) { var idx = info.getAttribute("data-cinema-index"); var visible = false; row.querySelectorAll('.day-cell[data-cinema-index="' + idx + '"]').forEach(function (cell) { cell.querySelectorAll(".seance").forEach(function (s) { if (s.style.display !== "none") visible = true; }); }); var cells = row.querySelectorAll('[data-cinema-index="' + idx + '"]'); var d = visible ? "" : "none"; info.style.display = d; // day cells ... }); }); } ``` Hmm wait, but there's a subtlety with hiding day cells in the flattened grid: if I set display:none on a day cell in the grid, the grid track remains (1fr) — fine, the track stays, the cell just isn't rendered. The row height: the cinema-info is visible with padding → the row keeps its height. Good. Also, the seance's display check: `seance.style.display !== "none"` — initially style.display is "" (visible). After filtering, hidden ones are "none". OK. And the movie row: if no seance is visible in the row → `row.style.display = "none"`. And the no-movies message: if all `.movie-row`s are hidden → show the message (remove display:none), otherwise hide it. **Bug 7: Filter controls get clipped or stranded off-screen at narrow widths / high zoom.** - `.filter-bar` is `display: flex; height: 40px;` with `white-space: nowrap` buttons and a search input with `margin-left: auto`. At 375px, the total width of the controls exceeds 375 → overflow. The filter bar is a grid item of main-grid (width 100%), and the flex items overflow the bar (flex doesn't shrink below content size... the buttons have white-space: nowrap, and the input has a fixed width of 180px). The overflow spills out of the page → the document scrolls horizontally or the controls get clipped. Fix: `flex-wrap: wrap; height: auto; padding: 8px 20px;` so the controls wrap to multiple lines at narrow widths. Also, make the search input width flexible (`flex: 1` / `min-width: 0` / max-width). Keep it reachable. **Bug 8: Metadata and screening links are too faint.** - `.movie-info-line { color: #b9b9b9 }` (very faint gray) and `.seance a { color: #9fc4f5 }` (light blue). Fix: darker colors, e.g., #555 for the info line, #0b57d0 / #1a56b0 for the links. Keep the look plain. **Bug 9: No visible focus; no useful heading outline.** - `*:focus { outline: none }` → remove it, or replace with a visible focus style. Add `:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #0070f3; outline-offset: 2px }` (or :focus for broader support). - Heading outline: the page has no `<h1>`/`<h2>`. "Kina w Krakowie" is a div → make it an `<h1>`. Movie titles are divs → make them `<h2>`. Cinema names could be `<h3>`. This gives the heading outline: h1 city, h2 films, h3 cinemas. Keep the styling the same (reset margins, font sizes). Now, other potential defects to check (the task says "fix anything else that is clearly a defect"): a) `.sticky-header` has `overflow: hidden` — with the scrollLeft sync, this is intentional. b) The header's day cells use `white-space: nowrap; overflow: hidden; text-overflow: ellipsis` — with a 100px column and "śr 12.08" (short) it fits; the medium "śr, 12 sierpnia" (~90px at 14px?) might be tight but ellipsis handles it. OK. c) Tooltip: `.tags-tooltip` is positioned above the link; on the first row of a day cell, near the top of the schedule, the tooltip might be clipped by the sticky header or the viewport — minor, not in the report. Leave it. d) `home-button`'s href="#" — fine for a demo. e) `.seance` has `height: 20px; line-height: 20px` and contains a link with a tooltip span (absolute). Fine. f) When the filter hides all seances in a day cell, the day cell remains (empty white cell) — that's fine, the grid structure is preserved (the date column is still visible). Good — "after filtering, every visible time must still sit under the correct date" — the empty cells are fine. g) `parseDay` on empty string "" → []. Good. h) `seanceMatches`: tags like "2D • napisy" → lowercase "2d • napisy"; type: contains "3d" → 3D, else 2D. Language: contains "dubbing" → dubbing; else if contains "napisy" → napisy; else brak. Note: "bez tłumaczenia" (brak) applies to "Wszyscy moi wrogowie" (tags are only "2d" → "2D"). Good. Wait, one problem: `t.indexOf("3d") !== -1` — the tags string is "3D • dubbing" lowercased → "3d • dubbing" → contains "3d" → OK. But "napisy" contains... no "3d". OK. i) Search: `title.indexOf(state.search) === -1 ? "none" : ""` — state.search is already lowercased, and data-title is also lowercased. Good. But note: search should compose with the filters: a movie that matches the search but has no visible screenings should be hidden (because the row-level check hides it). In my applyFilters, the row's display is determined by: (a) search match, (b) any visible seance. Both must hold. Let me structure it: ```js document.querySelectorAll(".movie-row").forEach(function (row) { var title = row.getAttribute("data-title"); var searchOk = title.indexOf(state.search) !== -1; var anyVisible = false; // computed from cinema groups row.style.display = (searchOk && anyVisible) ? "" : "none"; }); ``` And the no-movies message: shown when all rows are hidden. j) Dropdowns: `buildDropdown` uses a label wrapping a checkbox — clicking the label toggles the checkbox → the change event fires. Good. The dropdown click stops propagation so the document click (which closes all) doesn't fire immediately. Good. k) `setupDropdowns` — document click closes the dropdowns. OK. l) The filter bar's `height: 40px` — with wrap, change to `min-height: 40px; height: auto;`. m) `.main-grid`'s `min-width: fit-content` — must be removed (or set to max-content? no — remove it; width: 100% is enough). n) Body's `padding: 20px` — at 375px, main-grid = 335px wide. Schedule min-width 1150 → the scroll region is about 335px wide with a horizontal scrollbar. Page doesn't scroll. Good. o) Sticky header height: 40px; poster's sticky top: 40px. p) z-index: header z-index 1; poster z-index... the poster is inside the scroll container. The scroll container creates a stacking context only if it has z-index/transform/etc. `overflow: auto` alone doesn't create a stacking context. The poster's z-index: 2 vs the header's z-index: 1 — both in the root stacking context → the poster wins → bug 4. Fix: poster z-index: 0 (or 1? the header is 1; if the poster is also 1, then DOM order: the header comes before the schedule in the DOM → the later element (poster) wins ties in the same stacking context). So the poster must be z-index: 0 (or negative? 0 is fine, the header's 1 > 0). And top: 40px. Wait, also the filter bar: it's between the header and the schedule in the DOM. If the poster is sticky at top:40px, it slides under the header (z-index 0 < 1) — good, the header covers it. The filter bar is in normal flow, not sticky — it scrolls away. The poster sticks at 40px from the top of the viewport, below the header. Good. Hmm, but one more thing: the poster's sticky top: 40px — while scrolling, the poster sticks to 40px from the top of the viewport, and the header (40px tall) occupies 0–40px. The poster is right below the header. q) The `.schedule-scroll` wrapper: `overflow-x: auto`. It's a grid item of main-grid (single implicit column). Its width = main-grid's width. Inside it, `.schedule-inner` with `min-width: 1150px` and `width: 100%`? If main-grid is wider than 1150, the inner stretches to 100%. If narrower, the inner is 1150 → scroll. Good. Actually, do I need `.schedule-inner`? I could put `min-width: 1150px` directly on... the movie rows are separate elements; each row needs min-width 1150, or a wrapper. A wrapper is cleaner: `.schedule-inner { min-width: 1150px; }` and the rows are width 100% (stretched as grid items of main-grid? no — the rows are children of schedule-inner, which is a block; the rows are block-level divs → full width of the inner). The rows are `display: grid` with `1fr` columns → they fill the inner's width. Good. And the header: `.sticky-header` is a grid item of main-grid, width = main-grid's width. Its inner `.header-row` has `min-width: 1150px; display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr);`. When the header is wider than 1150, the header-row stretches (width: 100%? a block-level div inside a grid... the header-row is a child of the sticky-header div; make the sticky-header `display: block` (not grid) and the header-row a regular block with `min-width: 1150px; width: 100%`? A block's width auto = fills the parent. min-width 1150 → at least 1150. Good. JS sync: ```js var schedule = document.querySelector(".schedule-scroll"); var header = document.querySelector(".sticky-header"); function syncHeader() { header.scrollLeft = schedule.scrollLeft; } schedule.addEventListener("scroll", syncHeader); window.addEventListener("resize", syncHeader); syncHeader(); ``` Also, when the filters hide rows, the schedule's width doesn't change (min-width is fixed) — no problem. Edge case: the header's `overflow: hidden` — the header-row's width is 1150 or more, and the header's width is less than that → scrollable overflow → scrollLeft works. r) Also, `.sticky-header`'s `overflow: hidden` clips the box-shadow — the shadow is `0 2px 5px` downward; with overflow hidden on the header itself, the shadow gets clipped! Wait, overflow: hidden clips the element's own content; the box-shadow is drawn outside the border-box and isn't clipped by the element's own overflow. Correct — the element's own overflow doesn't clip its own box-shadow. Good. s) Now the heading structure: - `<h1 class="city-title">Kina w Krakowie</h1>` — inside combined-header. - Movie titles: `<h2 class="movie-title-text">` containing an `<a>`. - Cinema names: `<h3 class="cinema-info">`? Hmm, h3 inside a grid cell — fine. But wait: the heading outline "for the city and its films" — h1 city, h2 films is the requirement. Cinemas as h3 is a bonus; the report says "no useful heading outline for the city and its films" — so h1 + h2 is the core. Let me add h3 for cinemas too (useful, harmless). Styling: h1/h2/h3 have default margins — reset with `margin: 0`. The `.movie-title-text` is currently `font-size: 1rem; font-weight: bold` — h2's default is 1.5em bold; override with the existing classes. Let me set: ```css .city-title { font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; } .movie-title-text { font-size: 1rem; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; } .cinema-info { ... margin: 0; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold? } ``` The current cinema-info is font-size 14px, normal weight. Making it an h3 with font-weight bold would slightly change the look... "don't redesign" — a bold cinema name is a reasonable heading treatment, but to be safe I could keep the weight normal. Hmm. A heading that looks like normal text is fine for screen readers. Let me keep the cinema-info's font-weight normal (no visual change) — actually, headings are usually bold; but the instruction is to change only what the fix requires. The fix requires a heading outline; the visual weight is a matter of taste. Keep the weight normal to avoid a visual change? Hmm, but then it's a semantically bold element that looks normal — that's fine. Actually, let me reconsider: making the cinema names h3 — is that overkill? "A screen reader user reported that the page has no useful heading outline for the city and its films." City → h1, films → h2. That satisfies it. Cinema h3 is a natural extension of the outline and helps navigation. Let me include it, keeping the existing visual style (14px, normal weight... let me leave it as-is). t) Focus styles: ```css *:focus { outline: none; } → remove :focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #0057b8; outline-offset: 1px; } ``` Use :focus-visible (modern browsers, fine). Or add a :focus fallback? Chromium 1217 (playwright) supports :focus-visible. For robustness, I could style `:focus` directly — but then a mouse click on a button shows the outline too (older behavior). The report says "keyboard users can't see focus anywhere" — :focus-visible is the correct fix. Let me use :focus-visible. u) Also check: the `.filter-toggle` buttons — type="button", good. The checkboxes inside labels — focusable, fine. v) The `no-movies-message` has inline `style="display: none"` — my JS toggles it: `message.style.display = show ? "" : "none"`. Good. w) Another potential defect: `.day-cell`'s `justify-content: center` with wrap — the times center as a group. Fine. x) `.seance`'s height 20px — with wrap, the cell grows; fine. y) Also `.content-cell`'s background #fafafa and `.day-cell`'s background #ffffff — in the flattened grid, the content-cell wrapper is removed. The day cells keep their white background; the area behind (the movie row) — the poster cell is #fafafa, the title is #f5f5f5, the cinema-info is #f5f5f5. The gaps between day cells: the day cells have a 1px border all around → no gaps. But wait, in the flattened grid, between the title row and the cinema rows, and around the day cells — the day cells tile columns 3–10 completely (each 1fr, no gap) → no background shows through. The region of column 2 (cinema-info) is #f5f5f5. OK, the visual is preserved. Hmm wait, one more: in the original, `.content-cell` had `background: #fafafa` — the content area behind everything. In the flattened version, the movie-row's background: default (white from the body). The poster cell is #fafafa with a right border; the title is #f5f5f5; the cinema-info is #f5f5f5 with a right border; the day cells are white. The whole row is covered by these cells (poster column 1, title row 1 columns 2–10, cinema-info column 2, day cells columns 3–10). No gaps. Good. z) The movie row's `border-bottom: 1px solid #ddd` — kept. aa) The header's `border-bottom: 2px solid #ccc` — kept. bb) The `.main-grid`'s `border: 1px solid #ddd` — kept. Now — the header's columns: `150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr)`. The combined-header spans `grid-column: 1 / 3`. The header items (day cells) get auto-placed: after the combined header (columns 1–2, row 1), the next item → row 1, column 3. Then columns 4–10. Wait, the combined-header's `border-right: 1px` — it's at the edge of column 2 (x=350). The cinema-info also has a border-right at x=350. Aligned. The header's day items each have a border-right; the first day item's left edge is at x=350, matching the day cells' left border (the day cells have a full border). A 1px difference: the header's day cell has no left border (only right), while the day-cell below has a left border (1px) — the visual line at x=350: the header has the combined-header's border-right (1px at 349–350), the day cell has a border-left (1px at 350–351). A 1px offset in the vertical line — negligible, and the original had the same kind of mismatch (the header's border-right vs the day cell's border). Fine. cc) Now the JS changes: 1. `renderHeader`: build the header-row structure. Currently it appends day cells directly to `.sticky-header`. New: `.sticky-header > .header-row > (combined-header + day cells)`. The combined-header is static HTML inside sticky-header; I need to move it into header-row. Let me restructure the HTML: ```html <div class="sticky-header"> <div class="header-row"> <div class="combined-header header-item"> <a href="#" class="home-button">Strona główna</a> <h1 class="city-title">Kina w Krakowie</h1> </div> <!-- day cells appended by app.js --> </div> </div> ``` And JS appends to `.header-row`. 2. `renderMovies`: append the rows to `.schedule-inner`. Flatten the structure: ```js var row = el("div", "movie-row"); row.setAttribute("data-title", movie.title.toLowerCase()); var posterCell = el("div", "poster-cell"); ... poster ... row.appendChild(posterCell); var titleBlock = el("div", "movie-title"); var titleText = el("h2", "movie-title-text"); ... row.appendChild(titleBlock); Object.keys(movie.screenings).forEach(function (cinema, cinemaIndex) { var name = el("h3", "cinema-info"); name.textContent = cinema; name.setAttribute("data-cinema-index", String(cinemaIndex)); row.appendChild(name); DAYS.forEach(function (day, index) { var cell = renderDayCell(parseDay(movie.screenings[cinema][index])); cell.setAttribute("data-cinema-index", String(cinemaIndex)); cell.style.gridColumn = String(index + 3); row.appendChild(cell); }); }); inner.appendChild(row); ``` Wait — the title block is currently: `.movie-title` contains `.movie-title-text` and `.movie-info-line`. Keep that; `.movie-title { grid-column: 2 / -1; }`. Hmm, `el("h2", "movie-title-text")` — h2 with a link inside. Good. 3. `applyFilters` — rewrite as planned. 4. `setupSearch` — fix the id to `movie-search-input`. 5. Add the header sync code. 6. `renderHeader` — append to `.header-row`. Now the CSS changes: ```css body { ... } /* keep, maybe add overflow-x: hidden? No — the page shouldn't scroll horizontally; with the fixes nothing overflows. Don't add a band-aid. */ .main-grid { display: grid; width: 100%; border: 1px solid #ddd; /* remove min-width: fit-content */ } .sticky-header { position: sticky; top: 0; z-index: 1; overflow: hidden; background: #f5f5f5; border-bottom: 2px solid #ccc; box-shadow: 0 2px 5px rgba(0,0,0,.1); font-weight: bold; } .header-row { display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr); min-width: 1150px; height: 40px; align-items: center; text-align: center; } ``` Wait, the original sticky-header had `height: 40px` and `display: grid`. Now the height is on header-row; the sticky-header's height = the header-row's height (40px). OK. `.combined-header { grid-column: 1 / 3; }` — plus the existing gap. `.header-item` — keep (day cells). `border-right: 1px solid #ddd` — keep. The last day item's border-right is at the right edge — the original had it too (all header-items have a border-right). Keep. Filter bar: ```css .filter-bar { grid-column: 1 / -1; display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; align-items: center; gap: 10px; min-height: 40px; padding: 8px 20px; background: #f5f5f5; border-bottom: 1px solid #ddd; } ``` Search input: `width: 180px` → make it flexible: `flex: 1 1 180px; min-width: 120px; max-width: 240px;`? Hmm, keep it simple: `width: auto; flex: 1 1 160px; min-width: 110px;` so it shrinks on a phone. Actually, with flex-wrap, at 375px: the label "Filtruj:" + two buttons + search... let me estimate: "Filtruj:" ~55px, "Typ seansu ▼" ~110px, "Tłumaczenie ▼" ~120px, search label "Szukaj po tytule:" ~130px + input 180px. Total ~595px + gaps > 335px (375−40). With wrap: line 1: Filtruj + both buttons (~285px + gaps ~305) fits in 335? 55+10+110+10+120 = 305, yes. Line 2: search label + input: 130+6+input → input flex 1 1 160, min 110 → ~199px fits. Good, everything reachable. Also `.movie-search-container { margin-left: auto; }` — with wrap, margin-left auto pushes it to the right on wide screens (the original look), and on a wrapped line it goes to the start of the new line... actually, margin-left: auto on a wrapped flex line pushes it to the right of that line. Fine either way. Schedule: ```css .schedule-scroll { grid-column: 1 / -1; overflow-x: auto; } .schedule-inner { min-width: 1150px; } ``` Movie row: ```css .movie-row { display: grid; grid-template-columns: 150px 200px repeat(8, 1fr); border-bottom: 1px solid #ddd; } .poster-cell { grid-column: 1; grid-row: 1 / -1; ... (keep the rest) } .movie-title { grid-column: 2 / -1; ... } .cinema-info { grid-column: 2; ... } .day-cell { /* grid-column set inline in JS */ display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; ... min-width: 100px; } ``` Wait — the day cell's `min-width: 100px` + `1fr` track: the track's minimum = 100+2 (border, border-box → the border is inside the 100? min-width 100 with box-sizing border-box → the border is included in the 100px). So the track's minimum = 100px. Total minimum = 150+200+800 = 1150. Matches the min-width: 1150px. Poster: ```css .movie-poster { position: sticky; top: 40px; z-index: 0; ... } ``` Colors: ```css .movie-info-line { color: #555; } .seance a { color: #0b57d0; } ``` Hmm, the original link color #9fc4f5 is very faint. A plain readable blue: #1a56c4 or #0b57d0. Let me use #1554ad (a classic readable link blue) — or keep it in the same family: #4a90e2? That's still a bit faint. #1a56b0. Let me go with #1554ad. Focus: ```css :remove *:focus { outline: none; } :focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #0b57d0; outline-offset: 1px; } ``` Headings: ```css h1, h2, h3 { margin: 0; } ``` Plus the existing class styles. `.city-title` is now h1: keep font-size 14px bold. `.movie-title-text` is h2: font-size 1rem bold (already set). `.cinema-info` is h3: keep font-size 14px; add `margin: 0` (covered by the h3 reset). Wait, the default h2 font-size is 1.5em — the `.movie-title-text` class sets `font-size: 1rem` → overrides. Good. h1 default is 2em → `.city-title` sets 14px. Good. h3 default is 1.17em bold → `.cinema-info` sets font-size 14px but not font-weight → h3 is bold by default. The original cinema name was normal weight. To keep the look identical, add `font-weight: normal`? Hmm — "don't redesign" — the cinema name becoming bold is a small visual change. Let me add `font-weight: normal` to `.cinema-info` to preserve the exact look. Hmm, actually, wait: is that weird? A bold heading is more conventional... but the instruction is: change only what the fix requires. The fix = a heading outline for screen readers. The visual weight isn't required. Preserve the look: font-weight normal. Also `.home-button` — keep as an a. Now the `no-movies-message` — it's between the filter-bar and the schedule in the DOM. When shown, it's a full-width row. Good. Now, the sticky header and the schedule: the header is sticky top:0 within the body's scroll. The schedule-scroll is below it. When scrolling down, the header sticks; the poster sticks at top:40px below it. One issue: the `.schedule-scroll`'s overflow-x: auto — when the content is wider, a horizontal scrollbar appears at the bottom of the schedule region (the whole schedule is tall, so the scrollbar is at the bottom of the scheduleChromium is available for testing. Let me check the session log for context, then verify the bugs before fixing.

Next is app.js. Changes: 1. `renderHeader` → append to `.header-row`. 2. `renderMovies` → flat rows appended to `.schedule-inner`; h2/h3 headings; data-cinema-index attribute; explicit grid-column for day cells. 3. `applyFilters` → hide empty cinema rows and movie rows, and toggle the no-movies message. 4. `setupSearch` → correct id `movie-search-input`. 5. `setupDropdowns` → aria-expanded. 6. New: header scroll sync. I'll write the whole file (it's a complete rewrite of several functions, and the data tables are preserved verbatim).**app.js** — fix the search id, flatten rows into the shared grid template, hide empty rows, show the "Brak filmów" message, and sync the header with the scrollable schedule:

Now let's test with headless Chromium. I'll write a test script that does the following: 1. Load the page at desktop width (1440x900) and mobile width (375x812). 2. Capture console errors. 3. Verify: - The header's date cells are aligned with the day-of-week cells (compare the x-coordinates). - The times are contained within the day-of-week cells (no overflow). - At 375px, the document's scrollWidth == clientWidth (no horizontal page scroll). - The poster is below the header (top: 40px) and does not cover the header (z-index). - Search works: type into the input field, and the rows get filtered. - Filters: uncheck 3D → 3D showtimes are hidden, and empty rows are hidden; uncheck everything → "Brak filmów" is displayed. - The filter bar controls are reachable (they fit within the page width). - The focus outline is visible. - Heading structure: 1 h1, 5 h2s, 11 h3s. Let me check whether there's a way to run Chromium headless with a script. I can use Chromium's `--headless --dump-dom`, or better, use CDP via a small Node script. Is puppeteer available? `npm ls -g` only showed pi and little-coder. But there are chromium binaries in ~/.cache/ms-playwright — maybe playwright is installed somewhere? Let me check. Actually, the simplest approach: use Chromium headless with `--virtual-time-budget` and `--dump-dom` to check the rendered DOM, and use `--run-all-compositor-stages-before-draw --screenshot` for screenshots. For JS assertions, I can inject a test script into a temporary copy of the page (or use `--evaluate`? Chromium headless doesn't have --evaluate). Better approach: check whether playwright/puppeteer is available as a node module somewhere. Now let me test with headless Chromium. First check what tooling is available:
$bashnode -e "try{require.resolve('playwright');console.log('playwright ok')}catch(e){console.log('no playwright')}; try{requ…
commandnode -e "try{require.resolve('playwright');console.log('playwright ok')}catch(e){console.log('no playwright')}; try{require.resolve('puppeteer');console.log('puppeteer ok')}catch(e){console.log('no puppeteer')}" 2>&1; ls /home/lzieniew/.npm-global/lib/node_modules/ 2>/dev/null; find / -maxdepth 6 -name "playwright" -type d 2>/dev/null | grep -v proc | head -5outputplaywright ok no puppeteer @earendil-works little-coder @mariozechner /home/lzieniew/Documents/vram-arcade/node_modules/playwright /home/lzieniew/.hermes/hermes-agent/node_modules/playwright
